The history of the Xeoxian race:
The Xeoxian race originates from a distant galaxy but that they came to the Milky way a couple of million years ago. When they came to the Milky way nearly all of their technology was lost, but not their religion and culture. As the time passed their technology developed, but it wasn't military focused, until the Borg invasion upon their homeworld of Anexis. The peaceful Xeoxians didn't have much to fight the Borg with, so they managed to flee with up to 95% of their population. As they roamed across the galaxy they eventually came to the alpha quadrant. Once they found a suitable world they colonized it, but they feared that the same thing that happened at Anexis, could repeat here. What they found next would solve their problems. 20 years passed since the colonization of "New Anexis", and about that time the archeologists stumbled upon an amazing discovery. Under the surface of the planet was an enormous control base. The controls were different from anything they saw before but when they wished to start operating them, it seemed like they used them for a thousand times. When they turned on the "master switch", a mountain, near one of the cities started to "shake". A giant arch-like structure appeared. Scientists found out that the portal is leading to another galaxy. A long time has passed since they arrived to the Milky way, so they have forgotten nearly everything about their ancestral home. Only two months after the discovery, another Borg invasion threatened the survival of the Xeoxian race. Just as everyone was preparing to evacuate the planet the portal opened, and some strange ships came through it. They started to engage the Borg and defeated them. When the battle was over, the ships started to land near the city which is near the portal. Imagine their confusion when they noticed the sign on the closest ship that read "Ivexia" (which on Xeoxian means peace). A Xeoxian came out of the ship and greeted them on Xeoxian. They explained that they came from the Andromeda galaxy, and that the Xeoxians origins are in fact from the Andromeda galaxy. Those Xeoxians that came to the Milky way were from a colony ship which was supposed to set up a portal as same as the one on "New Anexis". But before even they could land the colony ship crashed and they fell out of suspended animation. A few of them survived and formed a colony but could not make the intergalactic portal. Meanwhile another colony ship was sent to "New Anexis", and the crew of that ship managed to make the portal but before they could activate it they were attacked by an advanced civilization. They didn't have much time and they couldn't activate it because the charging would take 5 days, but they managed to hide it under a mountain, but they were "eliminated".
