Biography
Born and raised on Vulcan, she decided to become a doctor like her parents instead of a scientist and chose to go to Starfleet Academy at the age of 16 instead of the Vulcan Science Academy and graduated at the age of 20.
She has nothing aganist humans, she finds them facinating but not Klingons because when she was only 4 her parents were killed by Klingons, they were transporting medical supplies and the klingons attacked their ship killing them both.
She was then raised by her great grandfather on the U.S.S Enterprise, She believes strongly in logic and her medical training. In the late 2373-early 2376, T'an served as an ensign aboard the USS Millenium and under the command of Captain Ryan M. Steel during the start of the infamous two year Dominion war.
After the battle, in 2387 she was promoted to Commander and was assigned to the USS Tiberius under the command of Captain Tea Kirk(Which they happen to be friends, sound familiar?), which was around the same time the borg war started. Thanks to Tea's bravery and T'an's medical training, most of their crew survived, but resulted in the death of Yan Chekov's father Pavel Chekov.
T'an knew it was like losing someone that close and so did Tea, years later T'an was later promoted to captain but remained aboard the Tiberius as assisting captain and months later after operating on a wounded Fed Ambassador who was injured in a klingon ambush, she was promoted to Fleet Captain.
