The Noble class of starships were a series of battle cruisers in service during the turn of the 25th Century assigned to officers of Admiral rank.
The Noble Class is a sister class of the Sovereign. It has expanded space for tactical officers, but the size and power of a cruiser, the Noble is an ideal choice for captains engaging the Borg or other high-level threats. Despite being one of the most advanced starships of the 2370s, the Sovereign class did not see much action during the Dominion War. The refit of both the Sovereign and Noble class were designed to rectify that situation.
