General Overview
Dash was born on a planet in the Trialas system not far from Verex III. Lived in Adigeon Prime as an orphan. A doctor discovered he was an augment. Dash went through a series of re-sequenceing of his DNA. Dash is declared human. During that time he met Dr. Karen Loewsand befriended her. After the treatment she took Dash to DS9. Meeting Dr Bashir eventually inspired Dash to apply to Star Fleet Academy. Julian managed to get his old friend Miles to send a letter of recommendation on behalf of Dash so he would attend Starfleet Academy. At the age of 15, he passed the Academy Preparatory Exam and started Starfleet Academy Preparatory Program in 2389. He managed to pass the Starfleet Academy entrance exam with a GPA: 3.36. Dash graduated Starfleet Academy in 2393. He graduated the following classes: Basic Warp Design, Tactical Analysis, Survival Strategies and Earth History. See Service Record for more information.

Introduction to a New Friend
Dash has always lived an isolated life. He knew from an early age that he was different. After going through painful treatments to become human, he forced to move from one place to another and never had stability in his life. In 2382, after his treatment he was transfered to DS9 to attend school. He met Dr Bashir, and instantly befriended him. Dr. Bashir could see that Dash was a great child but saw he has several issues. One main issue was that Dash was constantly mocked in school because he wasn’t one of the smartest student. Dr. Bashir said, “He is a bright student he just lacks stability and discipline. He has moved so many times, gone to so many different schools and had so many different teachers that he has missed the basic tools required for his education”.
Hanging in there by a thread
School seemed to be getting worse for Dash. He was getting into more fights and being disruptive in class. The teachers did not know what to do with him. Eventually, they decided to expel him from school. However, Dr. Bashir unofficially became Dash’s legal guardian and was able to keep him in school for the remainder of the school year but then he needed to be transferred. During that summer him in 2383, they went to Earth and spent the summer having fun. Doing all the things that Dash wanted to do. During that time Julian knowtested that Dash really had a talent for fixing things. Dash decided he wanted to stay and attend school. Julian enrolled him in school but right before school started they took a trip to go see Miles O'Brian. Since Miles has been a professor at Engineering at Starfleet Academy, he thought it would be a great idea to introduce the two. Dash was thrilled to meet him and hear all the unusual stories. Dash decided that he wanted to be an operating engineer and would do what ever it took so he could be just like Mr.O'brian. When school started, Julian told Dash exactly what was expected of him. Dash hit the books hard but he struggled every step of the way. He would study from the time he got home until 9 at night, every night that year. He failed his language course and was told he had to take summer school. Well one night Dash was finally fed up and was going to drop-out. However, Julian was not going to stand for this and he picked him up by the collar and pinned him again the wall and yelled, “All I have to do is feed you peanut-butter-jelly sandwiches and keep a roof over your head, but you will not be a failure in my house”. Dash could see in his eyes that he was pissed. He decided to change his ways. The following year Dash became an honor student, and strived to be the best person he could be.
Learning from the Best
Dash always communicated with Miles. He would call and talk about new theories about warp-drive, holodek ideas, and just about everything. Dash told Miles "One day I will be an Operating Engineer like you". Not long after that Miles gave Dash access to a few of his personal logs. Mainly anything that was technical. Dash would read them to every detail and ponder about different ways. The conversations they had had went on for hours at a time. The joke between friends is that when those two are on the phone it's nothing but blah blah blah. Then, when Dash was around 12 he asked Julian if he could enroll into Starfleet Academy.

Operating Engineer
Starting my career as a Lieutenant and an Engineer I have learned that I am on the bottom of chain of command as far as engineering goes. It seems that even though I am an engineer on the USS Reuben James I am still just a "helper". I have a lot to learn about Star Ships. Seemed like ever time the ship needs painting I was the one to do it. I painted for 8 months before I went to the chief asking for a shift change from Morning Shift to Second Shift (4-12). He agreed and I was now I had to report to Lieutenant Commander Heitner. Being on that shift we repaired everything and I got all the hands on expirence. This shift had the best hands on knowledge. After being on that shift for a while. One of the main Engineers on the Midnight shift transfered and I put in for the posision was open and I asked for the transfer. It was granted and I was now Midnight Shift engineer and was able to learn the critical systems on the ship. Then on day on my shift durring battle of a Borg Cube I was able to bypass and restore main power from 6.3% to 31.9% which enabled Life Support, 21.5% in shields. Also was able to do the Stinson Glide. People said I was a hero...to me I was an engineer doing my job. Eventually I was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and recieve the title of Assistant Chief Engineer, because of my understanding of critical systems and the fact I was able to restore power. I must have impressed the Captain for him to promote me and give me a new title. Being in my new position I eventually started to realize that I was more of a teacher than an engineer. I saw that every time I went to pick up a screw driver to do some work my engineers would stop me and did the job for me. It seems like they want me to stay close to engineering instead of all over the ship.
Assistant Chief Engineer
My first responsibility on the USS Roger Young as Asst Chief was to do the reports, of my staff we lost durring that battle. These were some of the best Engineers I have worked with. It is the hardest things I had to do. I worked with them and I knew each of them on a personal level. Neil Draigo was my age and was a hard worker and always went above and beyond. Noel Crispo was hard to work with cause he was "Mr.Know it all who knows nothing at all" but he sacrified his life for others and save my life. Another Engineer that stands out is Sara Gainer. She could always make me laugh out loud and hated plumbing issues. These were my friends, colleges, and Engineers I shall never forget them. D.V. Personal Log 200911.10
The status of our ship isn't good. My Engineers are tired, exhausted, and have been sleep deprived for days. My staff is working around the clock and I am in constant battle with our ships doctor. He wants them to rest. I differ...this ship is our home...our life...and it needs to ready for anything. They can rest when we reach Starbase 21.
Borg-Collective-Disabler Omni-Directional Emitter is Completed and Starfleet has been notified and the emitter is ready to be field tested.

Chief Engineer
On Stardate: 87048.23 Transferred to Engineering & Research Division. Promoted to Chief Engineer. Taking on a new position, the design of a new ship was first priority. Dealing with The Starfleet Projects Committee (SPC), we wanted a ship that was 100% support class that was combat ready. A ship that could change the out-come of the front lines. Coming up with the first Essex Class Starship. It is designed to repair, supply and tug ships in distress. The USS Worker Bee has six complete hangers. It has (55) Custom Worker Bee's and (35) Custom Fighters. Although its ships are lightly armed, this support craft can increase hull repairs by 73.5%. Phaser and torpedo bays can be repaired 63.9% faster. This vessel is mainly used to aid and patrol shipping lanes. This vessel performs well when dealing with ship-to-ship combat and/or planetary assault. Fighters are the offensive backbone on the front lines. Fighters are designed to be broken down and repaired in combat situations. The Worker Bees increase longevity of starships, which is also vital on the front lines.
While taking on this new design Starfleet was very interested and enjoyed the idea. Worked with some of the best Engineers in Starfleet. There was so much planning, prep and state of art engineering, I started doing favors for Starfleet Engineering Academy by allowing Engineering students to take tours on the ship. One day a student pointed out a great idea and we worked out the calculations and his idea worked well. Starfleet wanted me to allow classes to be held on the ship while in construction. I agreed but I layed out the LAW of what was expected from students. All the students were eager to learn and Starfleet approved. Helpers (1st & 2nd year cadets)and Mechanics (3rd & 4th Year Cadets). Towards the final phase of the project, Starfleet Committee and Academy came to me and asked me to be the Professor of Starfleet Engineering and wanted to know what my thoughts were about using the USS Worker Bee be the Academy. I was amazed and thought it was a great idea. It was approved.

Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths:
Vazuras has had Intense training with Marines, Immense Physical Strength and is an Expert Rifleman with his motto "One Shot One Kill". He Easily adapts to surroundings and is a Quick Problem Solver.
Weaknesses:
Vazuras used to lack Social skills. He was very judgmental, self-serving, egotistical, and was defensive. He aslo had a nasty temper and was required to take anger management courses, As per Startfleet Command. Since his promotion to Captain and the design of the USS Worker Bee he has made several improvements. One main medical weakness is he has a -40dbs hearing loss in his left ear from the USS Roger Young-Battle of the Borg Cube.
