History

Childhood

Chris was born on July 15, 2380 to Jonathan and Eliza Erikson, at the family ranch in the hill country north of San Antonio. As a child, he enjoyed a unique level of freedom and would disappear for days at a time to explore the over 700 acres of the ranch. This gave him a deep-seated respect for nature and a passion for biology. In highschool, he signed up for classes that would help him get a headstart in a career of xenobiology. This strained his relationship with his father because family tradition dictated that he become a tactical officer in Starfleet. It became a moot point in his senior year, when he learned that passion does not equal skill. After recieving poor grades, he relented and enrolled in Starfleet Academy in 2398.

Starfleet Academy

At the Academy, Chris studied Tactical Analysis, Earth History, Survival Startegies, Interspecies Protocol and Ethics, and Robotics. At times, he also sat in on Xenobiology, but wisely avoided adding it to his curriculum. It soon became apparent that he excelled in combat tactics as he moved to the head of his class.

After four years in the Academy, Chris graduated, and was immediately recomended to attend the Advanced Tactical training courses. Once again, he excelled and graduated one year later as second in his class.
