Rear Admiral Arachnidus(born 2380) is the first enlisted, Male, Human/Klingon/Vulcan hybrid in Starfleet. He is also the youngest officer to ever reach Captain. As of 2409, he serves in Second Fleet as commanding officer of the Luna Class USS Luna(NCC-94211-A).

Personal Life
Arachnidus 'Vadam was born in orbit of the planet Q'Onos in 2380. Born to Commander Xavier Armstrong and Lt. Commander Tali N'Ral, one half-klingon/half-human and the other half vulcan/half human, on board the USS Dervish, he was considered a citizen of both the Imperial Klingon Empire and United Federation of Planets. Arachnidus was named arbitrarily due to conflicts of culture with the parents, the first name being Pahkwa-tahn for "collective strength" and the surname being taken from a 21st century video game character. He was raised by his parents until January 2381 when the Dervish was destroyed by a Klingon Bird of Prey. Put aboard an escape pod, he was recovered by the Klingon Empire and raised by his Grandfather's House until the age of 3(2383) when the House was granted extended circumstance citizenship in the Federation. His adoptive family moved to Brooklyn, New York that year. Growing up, he faced adversity due to the strained relations between the Federation and the Empire, but it did not stand in Arachnidus' way; he did quite well in school and graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 2398. Immediately following graduation, he enlisted in Starfleet Academy.
Life at Starfleet Academy
Arachnidus and several of his friends had opted to go to the Academy since their early Middle School years, mostly inspired the stories of the Captains and crews of the ships named Enterprise, and were admitted to the Academy in September, 2389. Arachnidus and his friend Mark were all in the same classes for most of their freshman year, and were not only successful, but were considered very sociable by many of their class mates. While Arachnidus was considered to be a nervous, but fun and friendly person, his friend Mark Jenkins was considered a party boy of sorts. Arachnidus rapidly rose through the ranks and even skipped a year in the academy, becoming a senior by the turn of the century, in 2392. By contrast, his friend Mark, although doing quite well, often forfeit work for play(it was noted by several students that he holds a record for the most sexual partners of any student to ever enter the Academy). Graduating in 2393, Arachnidus was given his first posting aboard the Sovereign class USS Endeavour.
Service Record
As an Ensign aboard the Endeavor, Arachnidus was posted to the bridge at the Ops station. His experiences in exploration and combat on board the ship gave him much insight into command. He served aboard the ship until 2396 when he was given his first command; the USS Discovery. The Discovery, while being a small, Delta Flier Class ship, was a more than capable ship. Arachnidus, then a Lieutenant J.G., served with his longtime friend Mark Jenkins(then, an ensign), acquaintance Ensign Lavena Harris and Lt J.G. Alexis Danforth. The ship, whose class was commonly used for command officer training, was well suited to Arachnidus' command style and aided in many successful missions of exploration and diplomacy. When his posting aboard the Discovery ended in 2399(along with his romance with Lt. J.G. Danforth) just in time for the new century, Arachnidus was offered a posting he could only dream of; the USS Luna. Fitting with it's ill fated predecessor's class, the Luna was an exploratory cruiser. The original Luna was destroyed in the 2370s during operational tests headed by designer Xin Ra-Havreii. Arachnidus was offered the second in command seat on board the Luna on January 2nd, 2400. With the rank of Lieutenant, he served on the ship for about 6 years until 2406 when an attack killed the commanding officer, Lt. Commander Ridder. Given a field promotion during the battle and command of the ship, Arachnidus was quick to act. He had to get several new officers to replace those killed in the attack. He requested his best friend Lt. J.G. Jenkins to be his third in command, and chose former love interest and shipmate Alexis Danforth, now a Lieutenant to be his second in command. The Luna was undergoing refit when Lt. Arachnidus was offered a position in the newly reformed Second Fleet. On July 7th, 2407, he accepted the position.
Career in the Second Fleet
Arachnidus and the Luna entered into the Second Fleet's Patrol division following his acceptance of the offer. He was promoted to the rank of Lt. Commander, and was proud to announce to the rest of the crew of the Luna the new promotion list. During his time in Patrol, Arachnidus and the Luna accomplished several successful missions. Arachnidus himself made many new friends, including but not limited to the deceased Admiral Walker, Admiral Hawkye and several others in Patrol and the rest of the fleet. Following the brief conflict with the Klingons and the unidentified aliens, Arachnidus was promoted to Commander in Patrol Alpha. In the vacancy left by the small but deadly skirmish, Arachnidus was transferred to the Diplomatic Taskforce and promoted to Captain. As of February, 2409, the Captain has participated in the counter assault against the Borg invasion, which was successful in driving off the Borg attackers. Following the command structure change of the Second Fleet, Arachnidus was promoted to the commanding officer of the diplomatic task force. In the power vacuum left by the departure of former Fleet Admiral DeVito and Admiral Garbo, Arachnidus was offered the position of Rear Admiral of Foreign Policy. He accepted it without hesitation(or what most people would call hesitation).
Age Reversal
Following an engagement with an entity known as Omega-7, a spaceborne lifeform named for it's need to consume Omega molocules, Rear Admiral Arachnidus was turned back to the physical age of 14. No solution was found to repair this, but his mental state was left in a better condition than before the encounter, with his neural pathways reformatted and his brain reworked. He now has the intellectual capacity of a Vulcan, and possible empathic abilities. Due to this event, he was briefly deactivated from duty in Starfleet, but was called back into active service after receiving commendations from the Admiralty of the Second Fleet.
