Personality
Ayzer was friendly and outgoing even before joining. Afterwards, she carried herself with a greater sense of self assurance and calm. Ayzer is only the second host for her symbiont, so the difference after joining was not very pronounced. She runs engineering with an informal and relaxed style.
Biography
Ayzer Inara was born in 2384 on the Trill homeworld. She grew up with a real love for tinkering with machines and finding out how things work. At the age of 7, she took apart her parents’ replicator. Rather than punish her, they asked if she could help the technician rebuild it. Initially, she had intended to go to an Engineering Academy on Trill and study to become a starbase designer. However, after meeting with a Starfleet representative at a career day, she decided that the real challenge would be to join Starfleet.
Joining
While at Starfleet Academy, Ayzer met a joined Trill named Norvo Bryn. Azer had never seriously considered trying to become joined. However, after meeting Norvo, Ayzer began to consider it. With his help, she applied to the Symbiosis Commission to be joined after she graduated. She was accepted in 2407, but the news was tainted with sadness; Norvo was dying. After discussing it with him, they agreed that she would receive his symbiont. In 2408, Ayzer was joined with the Bryn symbiont and became it’s second host.
Starfleet Career
Starfleet Academy
Ayzer was a popular and dedicated student. She took part in the debating team and played water polo. Most of her classmates remember her, however, for her attempt to revive 20th century popular music by forming a cover band with some of her fellow cadets. While she was mostly unsuccessful in sparking a musical revival, the events were well attended and became a highlight of her class’s senior year.
USS Godiva
After leaving the Academy, Ayzer joined the Starfleet Engineering Corps. She was stationed aboard one of their vessels, the USS Godiva. The Godiva’s primary mission is to rapidly repair or rebuild civilian infrastructure, such as hospitals or starports, usually during combat or other difficult conditions.

2402 – Enrolled Starfleet Academy
2406 – Graduated Starfleet Academy with degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Transwarp Theory. Joined Starfleet Engineering Corps on the USS Godiva.
